Asses. Here, the sentence is such that the word Anes must figuratively represent a country or a people. Because I believe these two lines are linked together, the people concerned must necesarily be the German people. So, I translated the word ‰nes in german and I got the word arsch. Therefore, we have the english translation asses that sounds like SS, the third Reich elite force.
It was a known fact that Hitler and his SS had designs on Carmania (IRAN) as we will see below.

NB. De Fontbrune has tied this quatrain to the Russian Empire and Afghanistan, but Nostradamus is specific: it is not the Empire of Russia, but the Holy Roman Empire that the Germans have tried to revive, this time with Hitler's Third Reich.
