Nostradamus has predicted:

The Alliance Germany-Italy-Japan

According to my own method of interpretation,
only french lines in dark blue; will be analyzed and interpreted

Quatrain X-64

Pleure Milan, pleure Lucques , Florence,
Que ton grand duc sur le char montera

Changer le siège près de Venise s'avance,
Lorsque Colonne à Rome changera

Weep, people of Milan, Lucca, Florence.
When your great Duc will climb on the chariot
.
To move the seat closer to Venice,
When the roman columns will be replaced.
Quatrain IX-3

La magnavaqua à Ravenne grand trouble,
Conduit par quinze enserrés à Fornase:

A Rome naîtra deux monstres à tête double
Sang, feu, déluge, les plus grands à l'espace.

The magna vaqua in Ravenna great trouble
Led by fifteen, surrounded at Fornase
In Rome will rise two double-headed monsters
Blood, fire, deluge, the greatest in the world.

similar to the expression climb on the bandwagon. Here, it is the bandwagon of the Holy Roman Empire.
Milano, town of Lombardy, in Italiy
Lucca, Florence, towns of Toscane, also in Italy.
In Rome will be born. Here the verb to be born is taken allegorically: In Rome, a new alliance will be formed.
the two monsters, are, 0bviously, Hitler and Mussolini, two of the most despicable tyrants in history.
with double heads. This is an indication that those two leaders will join together to commit their crimes against humanity. .
Interpretation

You will weep, people of Milan, Lucca and Florence,
When your great Duke climbs on the chariot of the Third Reich.
and the two monsters, Hitler and Mussolini, will be allied together.

History

Even before his rise to power, Mussolini was familiar with the expression char germanique. (germanic chariot) When he was chief editor of the Aventi, he wrote:
[P.38] Down with war! he said, The choice is important, for Italy is always tied to the Triplice of 1882 [renewed in 1912], to the germanic chariot... [le char] [Translation - L'Italie de Mussolini, Max Gallo]

The AXIS
Signature of the pact Germany-Italy-Japan.

Thus, it was only a matter of time that Hitler and Mussolini would one day sign a protocol of understanding concerning external affairs between Germany and Italy:
Milan, November 1, 1936. Germany announces the creation of an axis Rome-Berlin.

In these first lines of quatrain X-64, Nostradamus seems to say: You do not know it yet, but you will weep and weep when your Duke (Duce) becomes an ally of Germany. This prophecy concretized itself when, at the onset of World War II, Mussolini climbed, but this time for real, on the germanic chariot:
It was a bluntly worded military alliance and its agressive nature was underlined by a sentence in the preamble which Hitler had insisted on putting in declaring that the two nations united by the inner affinity of their ideologies...are resolved to act side by side and with united forces to secure their living space.
The core of the treaty was Article III: If, contrary to the wishes and hopes of the High Contracting Parties it should happen that one of them became involved in warlike complications with another Power or Powers, the other High Contracting Party would immediately come to its assistance as an ally and support it with all its military forces on land, at sea or in the air.
(The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich - William L. Shirer)

Signature of the pact:
[P.567] September 27, 1940. In Berlin, in the presence of Adolph Hitler, Japan ambassador Karusu, count Chiano [Mussolini's son-in-law] and his german counterpart Joachim Von Ribbentrop, sign the tripartite pact. It is a treaty of political, military and economic alliance. [quand ton grand duc sur le char montera -]
[Translation - Chronique du 20e siècle - Jacques Legrand SA]

Thus was born the alliance between the two most sanguinary heads of state (deux monstres) that launched the most devastating war of the 20th century.
It was a known fact that Hitler was in charge and Mussolini had become a puppet in the hands of the Germans. (tte double)

Not taking into account, the clues that are found in the quatrain, De Fontbrune ties this quatrain to quite a few events, first an execution in Marzabotto, a movement of troops north of Florence, a manifestation near Venice and the hanging of Mussolini in Milan. None of those events are relevant to the quatrain.
