In Search of the Great Monarch

Nostradamus has predicted:

Origins of the Great Monarch

According to my own method of interpretation,
only french lines in dark blue will be analysed and interpreted

Quatrain III-14

Par le rameau du vaillant personnage
De France infime: par le père infélice,
Honneurs, richesses, travail en son vieil âge,
Pour avoir cru le conseil d'homme nice.

By the branch of the valiant personage
From very small France: by the unsuccessful father,
Honors, riches, work in his old age
Because he took the advice of a nice man.

Analysis:

of the valiant personage. The New-France was founded by daring pioners. According to Nostradamus, one of them is the ancestor of this Great Monarch.
small France. Here, small France is in opposition to the big France in Europe, the mother country. Thus, the Nouvelle-France, in Canada
from the latin infelix, which means infructueux, unsuccessful. For example, unsuccesful in business or in his work thus poor.
the word nice does not exist in the french language. and neither does it exist in the spanish, italian or latin language. However, it exist in the english language and it means pleasant, kind, delightful. Obviously, in the present context, nice does not make sense, unless we consider nice as a clue to the story itself. Thus, homme nice becomes homme sympathique, kind man and the english adjective nice tells us that he is an englishman or an american.

Interpretation

By the lineage of the valiant personage
Of Nouvelle-France: By the father unsuccessful...
...Honours, riches, work in his old age
Because he took the advice of a kind englishman.

These lines seem to establish the lineage of the great monarch. The only clues are a father unsuccessful in life and a lineage from a valiant individual who lived in the New France, thus Quebec, Canada.
