Epilogue

Astride on the centuries like a knight in shining armor,
Nostradamus was the eyewitness to the greatest epic in human history.
An adventure that began 450 years ago,
A portrait of the world's history,
A vision of humanity at the dawn of a glorious destiny.
The cosmic man is about to be born,
And the new century
Heralds the beginning of a new era
That will transform the planet and its inhabitants.
The pregnancy was difficult and the childbirth will be painful.

Sitting at night in the secrecy of his study,
The prophet has followed all the events of that adventure.
Silent and stunned witness of World War I and World War II,
And viewing the bombings, pillages and genocides of humanity,
He has seen to what depths human beings can sink through greed and stupidity.

Conscious of the impossible mission he had set for himself,
Nostradamus realized he was bound to veil the meaning of his prophecies
Until the time humanity could understand
The futility of all those wars that that have been plaguing the planet for millenniums.
Our generous earth has had enough of all this madness;
She is fed up with all the rapes she had to suffer,
The nuclear testings, the pollution of her atmosphere and the desecration of her soil.
This planet has bouts of nausea;
She is about to vomit all the refuse she was force to swallow.

According to Nostradamus,
The turn of the century has many surprises and changes in store for us.
Let's hope man will finally understand that his mission on earth is not to destroy,
But to build a better humanity of love and brotherhood.

All humans are equal.
All have a right to life and happiness.
The new society that will rise from the ashes of the present one
Will have to take those divine rights into account
If it wants to be a part of this Golden Age
Predicted by the prophets of old and those of the present.
