Q.- Vishnu, before the evolution of the human physical body on the earth, was the exact same shape and form of man existing in spirit?

A.- It was and is a spiritual entity, a fog-like substance, and it is only in full expression when it is freed from all the encumbrances brought about by the limitations man places on true spiritual law.

Q.- Vishnu, to continue with this matter of the Catholic Church, there is one particular question that is foremost in the minds of many priests: should they be allowed to get married?

A.- There should be a full expression to all life, whether it is marriage, whether it is not marriage, whether it is a spiritual balance, a full communion between two life forces. The defeat that lies within all of this media is not giving a fuller expression to life, for to place limitations upon the spirit is the defeat of your full growth in your life before your transition into the next dimension.

MASTURBATION,

Q.- Is masturbation a harmful practice, as some people believe?

A.- It is not a good practice, but the disapproval of it comes from the idea, or the pride, or rules of society, that give definition to what is right and what is wrong. It is only that it is much better, as the words have been written, to cast the seeds within the belly of a whore rather than upon the ground. But this is only for one who has been denied a full expression of his spirit (in true love) and hides (his sexuality) away in the dark closet of wrong that is not wrong. It is only that a guilt complex is built by parents who see it as a sordid, an unclean practice.

Q,- Vishnu, how much contribution, or what type of contribution did Karl Marx actually make to the growth of human civilization?

A.- It was a good growth that started in a positive way, but it became negative in the process of allowing materialism to invade the concept that it was trying to express. But it too has a meaning within the growth of all life, and it will gradually come into a better conception than it has at the present time.

Q.- Vishnu, how does the human spirit originate?

A.- It originates on that Outer Ring of all Eternity. And Eternity is but another name for the constant vibration of the finest thread of life that can possibly be brought into existence, or into the body of mankind, or into anything, whether it be "animate" or "inanimate." This vibration is a constant expression of [spiritual] nuclear energy, an inter-reaction within all of life, and is best expressed (illustrated) in the flow of electricity. For here is the energizing of thought. Here is the energizing of constant molecular substance (matter). And it is through this expression that all life continues the flow of generation by its constant purity of thought. Thought is the Sun that shines and energizes its heat, its light, its love to a world that seeks a hetter life, not in the material but in the spiritual house, and that holds the true understanding and the full purpose of all living.

Q.- Vishnu, what is the best method of meditation?

A.- Meditation, true meditation, is the complete giving up of the brain power, where it becomes silent, and you look within the full mind-brain of the spiritual body, and there ask in a gentle and compassionate way for a fuller understanding of your life and of the Life Everlasting, and then there comes that moment of quietude of mind, where there is expressed upon the switchboard of the brain the full thought force, and then there is brought about through clairvoyance the hearing of the true psalms.

MEDITATION, Transcendental,

Q.- Vishnu, there is a technique of meditation called "Transcendental" that is supposed to have originated from an age-old tradition. Would you tell us more about this, whether it is very helpful?

A.- Any way of meditation is good, so long as you retire within the fullness of your mind and do not allow the gross thoughts from the brain to interfere with the pure messages that you receive according to your growth.

MEDIUMSHIP, Trance,

Q.- Vishnu, will you describe the mechanism involved in this communication through the trance medium?

A.- VISHNU: The mechanism I am using, the mortal shell, is the first or gross material vibration that is wide in its waveband and can only be narrowed to a finer degree when the thought vibration gives a full expression of the Immutable Laws which have been given to you. From here (the earth level) the energy expands to the heights of that Seventh Ring, or that full Eternity or Infinitude, as you understand it. And here is the pure channel. Here is the Ring of constant Energy-Light that is not "out there" millions of miles. It is not expanded outward into a personified divinity, but it is here and now within the scope of everything. And yet the expansion of my Ring is so great that, when I speak of all Eternity, I am speaking beyond the capacity of your brain to comprehend what is transpiring. But I can express it only as a pure energy that is contacted through your thought power.

Q.- Vishnu, with what state of Buddhist or Hindu meditation may this present state of mediumship be compared?

A.- VISHNU: This present state of mediumship connects with all of the masters that are linked within the Seventh Progression, that is, into the very nucleus of all force, into that which is Krishna or that which is Osiris or that which is the Vishnu itself.

Q.- Vishnu, is it better to rely upon intuitive insight into God and higher entities, or upon other means such as mediumship and hypnosis?

A.- It is best to rely upon your own spiritual creative force and to give it full expression. Yet honor those that can, through their own higher awareness, teach or give you guide signs that will give you a fuller meaning of the word growth. But this teaching is only because there is a need to give you a fuller growth pattern. It does not come until the moment when you can give full belief to the fullness of life. It is for you to realize that you must not rationalize the moments of insight into your life, but rather plunge into the ocean of vitality and there assume command of your spiritual nature.

MEMORY,

Q.- Tell me, is our ability to remember the ability of our subconscious mind to retrieve a moment of consciousness out of our past? Is it true, as Ouspensky claims, that memory is not an act of our conscious minds?

A.- Memory is only the strands of thought that come from (this or) the past lives that all have lived, and it is only from our likes and dislikes, and (narrow) expression of life, that we look upon the mind and say we have certain attributes like "subconscious memory" or "imagination" when it is all of one structure that, gradually, in its meditation sees and invokes the past, whereby it (the spirit) is brought into a situation where it may serve that karmic purpose and that free will that it expressed when it once again entered a material structure.

MILITARY SERVICE,

Q.- Then Vishnu, ought one to refuse military service?

A.- I would refuse any condition that is controlled by a minority of men who have placed themselves in a situation where they are only concerned with the improvement of a material condition. For, in their violent way of creating a better place to live, they are only creating a hades of their own. For the paradise that all look for is within the spirit.

MIRACLES,

Q.- Vishnu, what is the healing force?

A.- The healing force is a required energy and a law of all creation but cannot [perform] absolute healing unless the karmic condition of the person allows this. There have, on earth, been granted a few "miracles," but these were not true miracles. They were granted, this absolute healing was granted, to specific individuals that found their karmic way, and had a fuller understanding of the healing substance. They realized fully that they were not operating the laws themselves, but gave fully of the spirit so that they could be healed, not in their faith, but in an absolute conviction that they could have a perfect mind-body from a perfect spirit.

Q.- Vishnu, Christ seems to have manifested through this medium in two different ways, as the Christ Consciousness, and as the human personality of Jesus. What is this difference?

A.- For Jesus was the man, the body, the clay, the shell that was animated by the Christ, or Anointed Spirit, who found in wandering through the forty days, or that given time, that journey into the mind, and there reflected and saw the fullness of the laws of the universe and of all spiritual substance. And then he was able to use them for the betterment of mankind. Jesus the man did not do the miracles that are constantly spoken about. The miracles were performed by those who came into a full belief and thus obeyed the Law of Balance that existed between Jesus and the persons involved.

For each has a mission to accomplish, though the detours may be many. But the pathway of spirit remains within the true way of the fullness of your life. Each is born with the fullness of the plan or the formula to accomplish a mission that your spirit has undertaken, not only for its growth but the growth of those that are around you. I cannot lead you through the avenues of vibration; I can only guide you, for you as a free will agent must express your spirit through the doorway of materiality and yet forever walk in a constant attitude of full spiritual love. Q.- For what reason did Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart die before the full maturity of his powers, thus depriving the world of much great music?

A.- This speaks again of the rebirth cycle. And his life was an incomplete [interrupted] incarnation. But it must have been expressed in this way, so that his spirit might learn its karmic lesson. It is not what is asked of an individual as a material achievement. It is what is right and in the balance of spirit. And there is not a special way opened for the material achievements of man, for this is expendable in the High Plan of Truth.

Q.- Then Mozart had some karmic problems from a previous life that cut short his creativity and his incarnation?

A.- Not only he, my child, but you as well are suffering in the karmic debt you made so long ago. And this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that man as a free will agent has no hell or purgatory beyond the progressions. lt is all found within the wellspring of the spirit.

Q.- But if a man seek with all his powers to create beautiful things is this not enough?

A.- It is not enough to seek only the beauty in his life, but he must also seek the beauty of those individuals that are his constant companions on the material plane. He must seek perfect understanding; not to look for the negative side of an individual, but to give to a man even though he suffer injustice from that person. The highest reward for all mankind is from practicing the full true meaning of charity.

MUSIC, Function of,

Q.- Vishnu, the medium's wife asks, what can music of different kinds do for the growth of the spirit? A.- Music is a servant to the living. It is the fuller expression of all life. Yet it is limited to only the half beats or half tones of your material ear. When you allow it to pulsate into the inner spiritual ear then you hear the celestial music that brings sublimity to the spirit, that brings a positive vibration to the growth of the spirit. And music-aye, it soothes the savage beast but not the animal kingdom as you would think it. But it soothes the beast of negativity. It enhances the true expression of the spiritual positive, and gives man a glimpse of, or a free message to the spirit, where that spirit can glide out upon the dimensions of all life and there live in the rhapsody and harmony of true Balance.
